Senior Conditioning is a mix of strength training with free weights and elastic bands or tubes, balance drills designed to improve balance and coordination, some short bursts of cardio to get the heart rate up, and plenty of core strengthening exercises, mostly based in Pilates. We also work on flexibility with stretching and range of motion exercises and end with a cool down/relaxation phase. The classes are primarily for those wishing to build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Balance and coordination are an added bonus. |
